CITED REFERENCE
LOOKUP, Step 1 Cited reference searching
is a powerful feature of ISI Web of Science. With cited reference
searching, you search for articles that cite an author or article
that you specify. Cited reference searching is a two-step process:
you first perform a lookup against the reference index, and then
select references to search for articles that contain those references.
On
the Lookup page (shown below), enter an author name, cited work,
and/or cited year.
Use wildcards (* to represent zero to many characters, ? for one
character) for maximum retrieval. Your lookup will display a list
of cited references containing the terms you entered (shown in Step
2).
