ADVANCED SEARCH – The new Advanced Search page enables you to create complex searches using the General Search field tags (TS, AU, SO, etc.) and to perform set combinations. The Advanced Search page allows you to create searches not previously possible in ISI Web of Science.

Each of your search sets run during the search session are listed in the Search History table (the Search History table is also listed on the Combine Searches page). From the Search History table you can view your results, delete sets, and save and open previously saved search statements.

For this example, we are searching for articles authored by T Sowers that do not contain the topic "vostok ice." The results are displayed on the Summary page.
